Systems Support Analyst - Edmonton

Position Summary:
The Systems Support Analyst provides support for all components of the organization’s network infrastructure including server hardware and operating software, network connectivity and firewall, and PC desktop hardware and software. At the highest level, Systems Support Analyst must provide effective and friendly customer service to our internal and external customers while helping to ensure network and computer system security, stability and safety.
Job Requirements and Duties:
- Help desk support, field incoming help requests from end users via telephone, e-mail and help desk software in a courteous manner.
- Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.
- Using the company’s Help Desk software, record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all decisions made and actions taken, through to final resolution.
- Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests.
- Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, maintaining printers, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
- Provide support for corporate Blackberry’s and iPhones.
- Support the stable operation of the in-house computer network. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing network hardware, software, and communication links while ensuring minimal network downtime.
- Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, software, networked peripheral devices, cabling, and networking hardware and software products.
- Maintain security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory.
- Perform system backups and participate in recovery testing.
Qualifications / Training:
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and 1-2 years work experience.
- Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows XP and Windows Server 2003+.
- Extensive systems support experience.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
- Highly self motivated and directed.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

The Renovation Sales Consultant is responsible for meeting monthly targets that is set by the Sales Manager. These targets will be met through direct contact with your consumers. The Renovation Sales Consultant will work within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and achievement of company goals. The drive executions, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively, and demonstrate high integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospecting for potential new opportunities, generating quotes, delivering quotes to prospective customers and successfully closing projects to both new and existing customers
- Ability to work independent from the office by prospecting customers through visits to their homes.
- Develop an annual business plan in conjunction with the Sales Manager, which details activities to follow during the year that will lead the Renovation Sales Consultant to meeting or exceeding sales quotas Manage and develop a strong portfolio of prospective accounts
