Edmonton, AB – March 5, 2020 – This February, the University Hospital Foundation raised over

$350,000 for better diagnosis of heart conditions through Heart Month fundraisers, including 630 CHED

Heart Pledge Day presented by Durabuilt Windows & Doors.

caring for the community too,” said Jeff Ward, Director, Business Development & Marketing for

Durabuilt Windows & Doors. “After 30 years in Edmonton, the community has given so much to us. It’s

important for us to be involved in the community and give back.”

Friday Jean Day proceeds benefit the CASA Foundation – an organization that provides mental health services for infants, children, adolescents and the families within greater Edmonton, and Central and Northern Alberta.

In 2019 Durabuilt Windows & Doors raised $2,831.96. Thank you to all that donated and to help young children and families.

This year on September 19, 2019 at the Black Hawk Golf Club, CASA raised $70,000 with the proud help of Durabuilt Windows & Doors, and Amrik Developments. The CASA Foundation is a community-based provider for Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health through fundraising and building awareness for children’s mental health.

2019 Habitat for Humanity – The Vern Koop Tribute Build

Durabuilt’s Winnipeg branch has been busy Building a single family home for the Habitat Partner Family of Zekarias and Sembeta. Durabuilt Windows & Doors donated the windows for the home, always proud to help the community.

Throughout the year employees donate money every Friday and this year Durabuilt Windows & Doors raised $3,074 for the UHF Mazankowski.

We presented CASA Foundation with a cheque for the contributions our phenomenal team has made throughout the year on Jean Day! It is truly an honour to be able to come together as a “work family” and support such an amazing, local organization who does tremendous work helping families in need.

A number of our team members tied up their laces and hit the pavement for the 2017 Servus Edmonton Marathon. This event is an inclusive, fun run, where participants can choose their running distance and connect with friends. The event sponsors children in the Edmonton community to play sports, and KidSport is the official charity of the choice for the Edmonton Marathon.

The CASA Golf Classic started in 2016 as a third-party event, organized and hosted by Harry Sunner, President of Durabuilt Windows and Doors, in partnership with Nava Cabinets. Members of the Durabuilt team showed their support for children’s mental health initiatives, golfing in the 2017 CASA Golf Classic this September. Through a day of fun, golfing, and a silent auction, CASA gathered funds for the mental health needs of Edmonton children and their families.

We were out keeping participants hydrated at #MSBike, including two team members of our own. Congratulations to everyone who participated; it’s great to see everyone come together for such a great cause.
